September 2024 – Flooding in Lower Austria – M.O.SE.S successfully deployed multiple times
In September 2024, Lower Austria was once again affected by heavy rainfall and regional flooding. Numerous municipalities were confronted within a very short time with the challenge of securing critical infrastructure and residential areas. Especially in high-risk zones, protection against flooding was of the highest priority.

M.O.SE.S. was deployed at multiple locations during this exceptional situation, including high-risk zones along the Danube as well as smaller municipalities experiencing significant water levels. Thanks to the rapid readiness for deployment and the flexible application options of our mobile flood protection system, M.O.SE.S. made a substantial contribution to limiting damage.
M.O.SE.S. proved particularly effective in regions where fast response times were critical. Within just a few hours, mobile M.O.SE.S. dams were erected and water successfully contained.
