we are currently dismantling the M.O.SE.S. flood protection system. Fortunately, the Kamp River turned back before reaching your extremely fast-to-install flood protection system. However, for my residents, around 90 percent of whom lost much or everything in 2002, the mere presence of M.O.SE.S. was already a great relief. Many of us came through with only minor damage, while unfortunately some did not. It is now up to the community to help these families restore a reasonably normal living environment. Improvised retention basin Gaaden
With the help of the M.O.SE.S. , an improvised retention basin was constructed to contain contaminated water. Thanks to its modular design, the basin could be flexibly adapted to local conditions and assembled within a short period of time. The construction provided reliable sealing and stability. During the operation, the UV resistance of the materials used was also confirmed, underlining the system’s suitability for longer-term outdoor deployment.
