The data processed during the use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion and no different provisions are specified below for individual processing activities.
Cookie Manager
To obtain consent for the use of technically non-essential cookies on the website, the provider uses a cookie manager.
When the website is accessed, a cookie containing the user’s preference settings is stored on the user’s device so that consent does not have to be requested again on subsequent visits.
This cookie is required in order to obtain legally compliant user consent.
Users can prevent or terminate the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of their browser.
Cookies
a) Session cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your device by the internet browser you use. These cookies process certain information about you to an individual extent, such as browser or location data or your IP address.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, for example by enabling the display of our website in different languages or providing shopping cart functionality.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as these cookies process data for the initiation or performance of a contract.
If the processing does not serve contract initiation or performance, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. In this case, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.
b) Third-party cookies
In some cases, cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for advertising, analysis or website functionality purposes may also be used on our website.
Further details, in particular regarding the purposes and legal bases for the processing of such third-party cookies, can be found in the information provided below.
c) Options for removal
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your internet browser. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. The necessary steps and measures depend on the specific browser you are using. If you have questions, please use the help function or documentation of your browser or contact the browser manufacturer or support service.
In the case of so-called Flash cookies, processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash Player. The necessary steps and measures also depend on the specific Flash Player you use. If you have questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Flash Player or contact the manufacturer or user support.
Please note that preventing or restricting the use of cookies may result in not all functions of our website being fully available.
Contact enquiries / contact options
If you contact us via a contact form or by email, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry. Providing this data is necessary in order to handle and respond to your request. Without this information, we will not be able to respond to your enquiry or may only be able to do so to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed and answered, provided that no statutory retention obligations apply, for example in the case of subsequent contract processing.
Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web hosting provider. These so-called server log files include, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the pages of our website you visit, the date and time of each access, and the IP address of the internet connection used to access our website.
This data is stored temporarily and is not combined with other personal data.
The legal basis for this storage is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the stability, functionality and security of our website.
The data is deleted no later than seven days after collection, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. In such cases, the data is excluded from deletion in whole or in part until the incident has been fully clarified.
Google-Maps
We use Google Maps on our website to display our location and to provide directions. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
When you access the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google stores a cookie on your device via your internet browser. In order to display our location and provide directions, user settings and data are processed. In this context, it cannot be ruled out that Google may use servers located in the United States.
If you have given your consent to this processing, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The legal basis may also be Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimising the functionality of our website.
Through the connection established with Google, Google can determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the directions are to be transmitted.
If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option to prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your internet browser. Further details can be found above under the section “Cookies”.
The use of Google Maps and the information obtained via Google Maps is subject to Google’s Terms of Use and the Google Maps Terms and Conditions.

YouTube
We use YouTube on our website. This is a video platform operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “YouTube”.
We use YouTube in connection with the “enhanced privacy mode” in order to display videos. If you have given your consent to this processing, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The legal basis may also be Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the “enhanced privacy mode” ensures that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to YouTube’s servers when you actually start a video.
Without this enhanced privacy mode, a connection to YouTube’s servers in the United States is established as soon as you access one of our web pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is required in order to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. In the process, YouTube will at least collect and process your IP address, the date and time, and the website you visited. In addition, a connection to Google’s advertising network “DoubleClick” is established.
If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube assigns this connection information to your YouTube account. To prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or adjust the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.
For functionality and analysis of user behaviour, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your device via your internet browser. If you do not agree with this processing, you can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your internet browser. Further information on this can be found above under “Cookies”.
Further information on the collection and use of data, as well as your rights and options for protection, can be found in Google’s privacy policy available at:
